Approved by the Public Carriage Office

The Eco-Power emissions reduction system has been fully approved by the Public Carriage Office. The testing procedure required numerous stringent emissions tests and a 10,000 mile durability test. During the durability test the vehicle was fitted with a tracking system to maintain the integrity of the test procedure which was the first time this had been attempted.

The PCO approval of the Eco-Power emission reduction system for Taxis was announced on the 17th July 2007 in PCO Notice 20/07 which can be viewed on the PCO website (link opens in a new browser window).
